CUSTOM ORDER: Includes Solid Oak Frame in the dark stain as shown with sealer, Amate as shown. Amate is attached to the floating canvas frame using linen thread and archival PH glue. Amates are irregular/handmade in nature and will be centered on the canvas with "Matting" room surround, to best highlight the Art. Canvas is recessed in wood frame to create a floating feel and mounting hardware is attached for horizontal or vertical display. All custom orders are FINAL SALE unless product is grossly different from approved design direction.

Beautiful handmade Mexican Amate paper. This paper is entirely made by hand in Mexico using amate bark, a technique from Pre-Hispanic times used extensively during the Aztec empire. It was used traditionally for rituals and has now been adapted into beautiful new designs and intricate cutouts. Papers can be used by artists or displayed as a stunning stand alone piece of art that can be framed and enjoyed for its intricate beauty as well as a focal point for any room.
